Planning a Down South Wedding? Here Are Our Favourite Spots
There’s something about the South West that makes it feel made for weddings. Maybe it’s the golden afternoon light. The rugged coastline. The quiet intimacy of vineyards and forests. Whatever it is, couples keep coming back, and we love shooting down there for a reason.
Here are a few of our favourite locations for a wedding that feels grounded, beautiful, and deeply Western Australian.
1. Injidup Natural Spa
For wild, windswept ceremonies and elopements that feel like they belong in a film.
The Natural Spa is tucked away near Yallingup — a rocky cove where waves crash into a natural rock pool, creating a dramatic but romantic backdrop. It's not the place for formalities or a huge guest list, but if you're dreaming of something small, intentional, and a little bit raw — it’s magic.
Perfect for: Elopements, intimate vows, sunrise shoots, or portraits just before sunset.
2. Albany
Albany is a bit further afield, but the landscapes make the drive worth it.
You’ll find dramatic granite cliffs, quiet beaches, and forests that seem to stretch forever. For couples who want something different to the usual Yallingup/Margs spots — this is a hidden gem. We've shot elopements in the Torndirrup National Park and it feels like another world.
Perfect for: Destination weddings, nature lovers, couples chasing that raw WA feel.
3. Credaro Wines, Yallingup
One of our favourite vineyard venues in the region — and not just because of the wine.
Credaro offers rolling hills, open space, and one of the best natural light receptions we’ve ever shot. Their approach is laid-back but professional, and the space balances elegance with earthy charm. Sunset here is something else.
Perfect for: All-in-one weddings (ceremony, photos, and reception), golden hour vineyard portraits.
4. Bunker Bay – Pullman Resort
This spot is a favourite for a reason — it’s where barefoot elegance meets five-star ease.
Pullman Bunker Bay sits right on the coast, with a private beach, ceremony deck, and reception space that flows effortlessly from one part of the day to the next. It suits couples who want to give their guests a relaxed but premium experience — think long tables, coastal breeze, and dancing under the stars.
Perfect for: Classic coastal weddings, larger guest lists, full weekend celebrations.
Final Thoughts
Wherever you land down south, one thing’s for sure — it’s going to feel like a story.
And that’s exactly how we approach your day. Not as a checklist of moments, but as something unfolding — full of light, love, and the kind of quiet details that matter most.
If you’re planning your South West wedding, we’d love to hear what you’re dreaming up.
